How You See People Changes Everything
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton hits a nerve in the church. We often think our lack of joy comes from “difficult people.” But Rob says it comes from how you see them. Jesus’ command to “regulate how you see” is not poetic, it is a weapon for daily life.
Rob breaks down the simple tool that reveals whether your heart is full of light or full of darkness. It is not complicated. You either see people as obstacles or as image bearers. What you pick will shape your marriage, your parenting, your work, and your walk with Jesus.
If you know Scripture but still call slow drivers idiots, resent your spouse over the smallest things, or quietly judge people at work, this episode will confront you. It will push you out of self justification and back into the freedom that comes from obeying the still small voice.
You will hear:- Why Jesus ties your entire inner life to the way you look at people
- The one question that exposes your motives instantly
- How road rage reveals your theology
- Why ignoring the Holy Spirit opens the door to resentment, self pity, and false narratives
- How a piece of dirt on the floor can become a whole story about your spouse
- How picking up trash in a men’s room became God’s training ground for Rob
- A simple way to retrain your sight and choose light instead of darkness
👉 Reflect and Apply
Jesus, where have I turned your image bearers into obstacles, and how are my own stories keeping me in the dark.
Journal Prompt
Ask the Father, “Where have I seen people as objects instead of image bearers.” Write what He shows you.
Then ask Holy Spirit for one mindset shift and one act of service you will take the next time He prompts you.

Stop Saying “I’m Just a Mom” with Izabella Boyd
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton sits down with 100xLife coach and stay at home strategist, Izabella Boyd, and goes right after a quiet lie in the church: that staying home is “less than” and that motherhood is a holding pattern until your “real calling” shows up.
Izabella shares how 15 years of homeschooling a son with learning challenges became her training ground for leadership, not her sideline. She walks through how the Master’s Program, TMPx, and the 100xLife challenge helped her see that discipling her family at the table is not a consolation prize, it is kingdom work. Then she tells the truth about resentment, hidden idolatry in marriage, and how the Words of Jesus on “deny yourself” exposed her coping habits with food, shopping, and fantasy expectations of her husband.
If you are a stay at home mom who secretly thinks you are “just” anything, or a husband who has quietly treated your wife’s role as small, this episode will confront you. It will push you to find your value in Jesus instead of in your kids, your career, or your spouse, and to treat the home as a serious field for the Great Commission.
You will hear:
- Why “I am just a stay at home mom” is an agreement with a lie, not humility
- How 15 years of homeschooling became Izabella’s boot camp for her future coaching business
- The difference between “my kids are my purpose” and “my kids are my training ground”
- How undervaluing your own role quickly turns into quietly undermining your husband
- The painful moment Izabella realized she was using Bible verses against her spouse
- What the 100xLife word “Deny Yourself” exposed in her: resentment, overeating, shopping, and a flesh led life
- Why coaching is often the missing piece for Christian women who feel stuck between home and marketplace
- How Izabella is building “Your Calling Awaits” to help stay at home women step into the Great Commission, not just survive the empty nest
👉 Reflect and Apply
Jesus, where have I agreed with the lie that my role is small, and where am I expecting my spouse to give me what only You can give.Journal Prompt
If you are a stay at home woman:
Write out the sentence, “I am just a…” then finish it honestly.
Now cross it out and rewrite it with Jesus. Describe your home as a training ground for the calling He is shaping in you, including one specific way you will treat today as kingdom work.If you are a husband:
Write down three costly, concrete ways your wife carries your family. Then ask Jesus how He wants you to honor and support that calling this week.Resources and Links

Gratitude That Breaks Old Patterns | Walk Into the Holidays Different
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton goes straight at your holiday mindset and calls out the passive Christian approach to Thanksgiving and Christmas. No more “just survive your relatives.” No more blaming your reactions on everyone else.
Rob shows how gratitude is not a November mood. It is repentance in action, a spiritual weapon, and a very real way to retrain your brain before you walk into the room that usually triggers you.
Instead of letting childhood wounds and old stories run the table again, Rob walks through how gratitude changes your physiology, your emotions, and your spiritual posture. Then he gives four practical tools that will either bring peace into your home or reveal how much you still cling to offense.
You will hear:
- Why gratitude is a core tool of repentance
- How complaint quietly disciples you into stress, anxiety, and bad reactions
- Why “God, help me endure my family” is the wrong prayer
- How gratitude strengthens your body and calms your nervous system
- What it means to let your spirit lead instead of your flesh
- Four ways to practice gratitude: meditation, journaling, texts, and spoken words
- How to choose thankfulness even when the person never apologizes or receives it well
- A simple mindset shift that moves you from victim to servant in the room
This episode will confront the part of you that still enjoys retelling your family pain but refuses to repent. It will push you to actually follow Jesus with your reactions this year, not just your theology.
👉 Reflect and Apply
Jesus, where am I choosing complaint and self-protection with my family instead of gratitude and trust in You.
Journal Prompt- Pick one trigger moment you already know is coming.
- Write the old script. Then write the new script with Jesus, grounded in gratitude.

Facing Family Wounds With a Jesus Mindset | With Nancy Dayton
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob and Nancy Dayton get brutally honest about family, triggers, and what it actually looks like to follow Jesus in the middle of holiday chaos, not just sing about Him over pie.
As Thanksgiving and Christmas close in, they refuse the usual “just survive your relatives” Christian talk. Instead, they invite you into the “family gym,” where old childhood programming collides with the words of Jesus and you have a choice. Stay triggered and offended, or let Jesus retrain your reactions in real time.
This episode pulls apart the stories, fantasies, and wounds you carry into family rooms and shows how they are discipling you more than you think. Rob and Nancy expose their own triggers, adoption wounds, and marriage patterns, then walk through how Jesus has led them into real healing, not churchy pretending.
You will hear:
- How your childhood “programming” still runs the room at every gathering
- Rob’s laundry room story and his lifelong fight with worth and attention
- Nancy’s adoption and abandonment journey and how God rewrote it
- How fantasy and “what if” stories can either poison you or transform you
- A simple sentence Nancy used to stop running and start communicating anger
- Why so many Christians are numb to conviction and stuck lukewarm
- How to walk into the holidays as a servant, not a victim keeping score
- A simple way to turn conflict into growth instead of another family blowup
This conversation will confront your inner “nice Christian” who avoids conflict but still holds grudges. It will push you to stop blaming your family, own your triggers, and walk into the holidays as someone who actually follows Jesus with your reactions, not just with your theology.
👉 Reflect and Apply
Jesus, where am I still letting old triggers run the show instead of your love when I am with my family?Journal Prompt
Pick one holiday moment that usually sets you off.- Write the “old script” in detail. What they say, what you think, how you react, how it ends.
- Then write a “new script” with Jesus. Same moment, but you walk in secure, unoffended, and ready to serve with no payback.
Ask Him: What mindset do you want me to practice this year in that exact situation?

Most believers talk about legacy, but few live it. Chris and Ryne’s story is proof that when obedience becomes action, transformation follows, not just for you, but for everyone watching your life.
From building trust and faith in the middle of daily life, to discovering how the parable of the sower plays out in real time, this conversation will challenge the way you see your walk with God and the influence you have on your family.

Mindset Before Skillset | With Jeff Gerhardt
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton sits down with coach Jeff Gerhardt to talk about why so many believers stay stuck and what it really means to align mindset with vision.
Most of us try to change by doing more: new habits, new strategies, new plans. But real transformation doesn’t start with doing. It starts with being.
From a meta-performance training in Atlanta, Rob and Jeff unpack how vision, belief, and mindset all work together to create real change and why we need to start thinking far bigger than we ever have before.
You’ll hear:- Why “mindset before skillset” might be the most important phrase you learn this year
- How a small vision keeps you cycling through the same patterns
- The stories we tell ourselves that quietly sabotage our growth
- Why gratitude shifted Rob’s mindset after leaving their dream home in Santa Barbara
- How failure can become training ground instead of proof you’re disqualified
This isn’t about stacking more strategies. It’s about transforming the way you think, so you can finally live out what Jesus already said is possible.

What Do You See In The Mirror? | Learning to Love Like Jesus
In today’s episode of the 100xLife Podcast, Rob Dayton unpacks one of the most transformational words of Jesus: “Love others as I have loved you.”
It’s a command that sounds simple but cuts straight to the heart of how we see ourselves. Because if we don’t love ourselves the way Jesus does, we’ll end up loving others from a broken reflection.
Through a story about a volatile electrician named Jim (and a lesson years in the making) Rob shares how seeing ourselves and others through Jesus’ eyes leads to true transformation.
You’ll hear:
- Why Jesus redefined “love your neighbor as yourself” in John 13
- How negative self-talk keeps you from living in His love
- The link between forgiveness, grace, and renewed thinking
- Why transformation begins with how you see yourself, not others
- A daily practice to retrain your thoughts to agree with God’s truth
This isn’t about trying harder to love people. It’s about renewing your mind until you see yourself—and everyone else—the way Jesus does.
👉 Listen in and reflect:
Holy Spirit, what thought do I believe about myself that doesn’t align with Your love?
